i met with my mentors throughout the semester and we talked about design in the real world, the start of their careers, and where i can go from here. they also were able to review my portfolio and the site its hosted on! not this one. the real one is much nicer. i'm a bit nervous to graduate and do work in the real world, but i am hoping for it to work out some how and to be able to actually use my degree. that's the scary part i think. not knowing if someone will take a chance on you, but i've been working on my people skills. that should amount to something.
finally throwing my hat into the ring and picking up another skill! learning html is incredibly intimidating, and now that im not 13 on the internet, i feel like im totally past the window to learn but im excited nonetheless. reading a bunch of articles to figure it out, but man do my eyes hurt... still debating on the professionalism level to use here, hopefully jobs dont think im underqualified, ive spent years maintaining a good digital footprint...
hello!! welcome to my blog :) my posts are all design related (in some capacity) and sometimes i take photos and feature them here!! other times im trying to figure out how to make them not come out blurry. i also like lowercase letters when writing.
